Diane has been out to massage my horse twice and on both occasions I was very impressed with her work. Fabian is a 25 year old rescued thoroughbred who has no specific issues other than wear and tear and general stiffness. I hoped that massage might help him to stay supple as he got older. Although Fabian can be a bit of a fidget, Diane was calm and patient with him at all times. She has a great way with horses and definitely put him at ease. Fabian absolutely loved being massaged and I noticed a huge difference in his ridden work. After only one session, he felt much looser under saddle and was able to perform a greater range of lateral movements. Diane noticed some stiffness in Fabian's shoulders and, after she had worked with him,he was able to perform shoulder-in for the first time in years. I would recommend this treatment to any horse owner and especially those with veteran horses. Not only does it help to deal with the general stiffness that older horses can suffer, it also helps to identify potential problems before they arise so that horses can have a longer and happier ridden life. I will be booking regular massages for Fabian with Diane from now on.Lindsey
Toby's rather gorgeous behind was moving much more freely this morning - your massage worked a treat! I think you loosened those gluts off nicely. Thank you. Reckon you now have a friend for life, or make that 2 friends for life!Paula, taken from Facebook.
Jane, that's a brilliant idea. Diane's given Tobes 2 massages and it's made a big difference. Moving more freely behind. His right hind leg much more loose, not snatching it back off me.Paula Mayne, taken from Facebook.
I have had Diane out to massage my horse three times now and each occasion. I have been extremely happy with Dianes approach and manner . My horse is not the most patient and can be very difficult at times( I think the saying Stroppy Mare was invented for her ) I had been having quite a few problems with Millie and after a complete detox and change of diet decided to give the massage a go although my friends thought I had lost the plot as it is not a common treatment at our stables . Diane is very confident and has an extremely calm manner. I was suprised that Millie did not give her any trouble except when she touched on the spots which were bothering her which is understandable, she soon settled when Diane massaged the area . I did not notice a big difference in her after the first treatment but after her further visits she is relaxed and her movements are fluid she has certainly benefited from her treatments . Now she is back on track I shall continue to have a visit around every three months to keep her condition and free from any niggles. Very satisfied customer Pat & MilliePat
Diane massaged my Dutch Warmblood Bertie, who soon relaxed and enjoyed it. He sometimes holds his tail to the side which is linked to tension in his back. After his massage Bertie held his tail straight and felt loose and relaxed. It was well worth the money, and I was surprised at how affordable the massage was. I will be recommending Diane to my friends.Kelly Jackson

I have had Di out several times now to massage my horses. Kharn is competed in endurance and Di helps to keep him supple and his movement free for events. She massaged him before our last competition as I had some concerns about his flexibility however we came first in the competition as Di worked her magic and loosened him up nicely. My other horse had some stiffness issues in her shoulders and quarters, she’s working freely now and even fell asleep mid massage! I will continue to have my horses massaged on a regular basis by Di, it helps our competition performance and their overall happiness and well being. Di is always friendly, professional and happy to attend in an emergency. She explains the work she has done very clearly and advises on any concerns. I always recommend her to friends and acquaintances. Janine
Zen came in from the field Thursday last week looking a bit stiff through his back So he had a massage from Diane Cassels at Sheffield equine massage; Diane provided a very methodical and professional service and we were thrilled with the results. She found some fluid on his spine and this reduced significantly by the time she had done. We would highly recommend Sheffield equine massage to anyone looking for treatment for their horse. Massage is beneficial for all horses to release muscle tensions, aid circulation, relaxation enhance performance and to both prevent injury and reduce recovery times after injury or completion. Please visit Diane’s website at www.sheffieldequinemassage.co.uk or look on our links page for more information. Zen can be a bit nervous around people he doesn’t know and after 5 days off work since the injury became apparent he was becoming slightly highly strung so in preparation for Diane’s visit Zen had some Blue chip Karma to take the edge off any excitability. This worked brilliantly for more information on Blue Chip Karma or any of their other products please visit www.bluechipfeed.comLaren Preskey www.arjento-equestrian.co.uk
When my 15.2hh tb x gelding started becoming more and more stressy, I decided to have Diane assess him. She was very thorough and explained his hind dishing in great detail to me. I was given a copy of his assessment sheet which I find very helpful for any future reference. Charlie was given a very thorough massage by Diane, who also picked up on problem areas of uneven muscle and explained how these would be corrected through work. She also pointed out the areas where his saddle had caused problems. I saw an instant improvement in Charlies behaviour, he is much more laidback and happy. I would highly recommend Sheffield Equine Massage.Rachel Schofield
